Meet our Veterinarians
Dr. Michelle Coran, DVM, Owner
| Dr. Coran is the proud owner of the
Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach since
January 2007. She previously worked at AHHB
as a Veterinarian and Manager from January
2002-2007. She is a native of California and
currently lives in Huntington Beach with her
daughter Chelsea, dog Buddy and cats Milo
and Buster. Dr. Coran
graduated from Washington State University
in 1995. In 2007, she was appointed
Associate Professor for
Western University of Health Sciences.
Her special interests are in dermatology and
behavioral medicine. She is also
credentialed in Regenerative Stem Cell use
with
Vet-Stem. |

We are proud to have Dr. Lisa Mason as
part of our team. Her special interests are
in exotics,
ultrasonography
and internal medicine. Dr. Mason graduated
from Michigan State University and is a
member of the Association of Avian
Veterinarians. She currently lives nearby with her
husband, son and her two dogs, Buddy and Bling
Bling. |

| Dr. Sasha
Burczewski Henderson |
|
|
|
|
Dr. Henderson is a California native who currently
resides in Yorba Linda with her husband, two
children, her cat Miles and her dogs Piper
and Diego. She is a graduate of Purdue
University in Indiana. She is involved in
her local and state organizations and
currently serves as the Southern California
delegate to the
California
Veterinary Medical Association. She has
a special interest in soft tissue surgery,
ultrasonography,
acupuncture,
and alternative medicine. She also enjoys
seeing exotic animals and wildlife. Dr.
Henderson's goal as a small animal
veterinarian is to relieve animal suffering
and promote the human-animal bond. |

Dr. Ann Ichikawa (fondly known as “Dr.
Ann”) received her veterinary degree from
Michigan State University. Upon graduation,
she came back to her home state of
California with her yellow Labrador,
Blanche. Blanche was adopted from the
orthopedic genetic research project at MSU.
Her family also includes another yellow
Labrador named Valentine, 2 Golden
Retrievers named Pancho and Max, and an
eclectus parrot named Quito. Her special
interests include internal medicine,
dermatology, exotics and wildlife
rehabilitation. Dr. Ann's goal is to develop
a course of care for each patient's
individual and unique needs. Some of
her adventures have included traveling to
the Galapagos Islands, Chile, Costa Rica,
and Africa. |

Dr. Burpo graduated from Western
University of Health Sciences. She currently
lives in Downey with her husband, two dogs,
one cat, and a leopard gecko. Her interests
include exotics, dermatology, and internal
medicine. She has previously enjoyed working
with exotic animals at the Pacific Marine
Mammal Center, the Los Angeles Zoo, and the
San Diego Zoo. She also had the opportunity
to study abroad with specialists in
Melbourne, Australia.
